Who we Are
Nutrition encompasses the processes of accessing food, consumption, and utilization of nutrients by the body. Whereas nutritional Status is the condition of the body resulting from the utilization of essential nutrients available to the body. PAM has worked with different communities in promoting high levels of nutrition.
Gender equity means fairness of treatment for women and men, according to their respective needs. This may include equal treatment or treatment that is different, but which is considered equivalent in terms of rights, benefits, obligations, and opportunities. PAM has been promoting Gender equity in its project implementations.
Climate change includes high temperatures and droughts which has drastically affected farming and survival as a whole. PAM mitigates the effects of Climate change through the promotion of the production of Climate-resilient crops in affected areas..
PAM has worked with a number of organizations and the Government in ensuring food security across the country. This starts with introduction of advanced farming technologies, diversification of crops, food preservation and processing.
